My size is normal, so it's easy for me to find the clothes that are suitable for me. It's very strange that I found the size have different standards. It's very funny that I can suit the size from S to Llol

hello youless i hear ya about saying i can fit the size from small to large. lol isn't that weird how different clothes fit like that? and it is always very easy for me to find clothes that i like and that also look good on me as well, when that i do go shopping for new clothes. but i always have to try my clothes on before that i bring them home, just holding the article of clothing up next to my body just doesn't get it. i have picked out clothes before and took them inside of the dressing room to see what that they look like on myself, and over half of the time, the clothes will just not look correctly on me. so it is back out into the store to see what other kind of clothes that i like and then it is back to the dressing room. lol take care and have a beautiful day today! It depends on the item I am looking for. I usually find my size easily when it comes to clothes because they hang anywhere around the corner of the mall. When it comes to shoes that is my dilemma. The shoes that are always displayed are the small ones so I usually request for my size which usually 8 or 9. My foot measures 9 inches literally when I use a ruler because I am quite tall. Anyway what I enjoy too is that I can wear sizes from Small to Large because clothes sizes varies from brand to brand. But in shoes I really look for sizes 8 to 9. [Yori88]

I can fit any sizes, from S to L depending on the brand of the clothes. Some brands have an S but the same size becomes M with other brands. When buying clothes, I usually don't look at tag, I fit it. [dorisday1971]

SOmetimes I have no troubles. But despite manufacturers having a universal sizing requirement, it doesn't seem that they stick to it. I've noticed at WM that they have made their sizes smaller and adjusted them so something like a 10 wich should be a medium is now considered a large & a 12 an extra large ect. I think they can pinch their pennies by cutting the sizes. [3SnuggleBunnies]

I can't easily find my size here in India. Most sizes are bigger than my usual size. If ever i had to look out for clothes, i might end up looking for the teens section because I'm petite. [strawberrychocodahi]

Hi youless.. In the Philippines I used to find my size easily though sometimes there are clothing line that I find hard to find my perfect fit. Here in DK, its frustrating since european sizes are quiet big. I always look for extra small size. The jackets especially the winter jacket, arent perfect fit to me but I have no choice. I have to wear it or else i will die of hypothermia. lol [jhoannejoj]

I guess it's much more easier for us men to get our size easily in any clothes, I certainly have no problem, although most of the items I purchase seem to come in S, M, L, XL or even XXL! I usually go for medium because they are nice and baggy on me. My waist size is 34 however I can get into a 32 now that I have lost weight but I do find with trousers that they do vary a great deal, some sizes are tighter than others, for example, I tried on two pairs of jeans, both different makes, both 32 waist, one fitted like a glove the other was too tight I couldn't do all the fly buttons up, weird isn't it how sizes can be so different yet the same! I guess it depends on where I am. LOL In the Philippines, I find it hard to find clothes that fit me. Because usually, the sizes there are very petite, real small. So in the Philippine society, it is urgh cuz people consider me as a big size. It can get frustrating at times, especially when I find an item that I really like, the style, color and price tag is good, but it just simply won't fit me. Anyways, when I am overseas, like in the USA, I like shopping here better. I am able to easily find clothes that fit me just right. I even sometimes find stuff in young girl's section. HAHAHA It is weird though because in Manila, my size is like XXL but in USA, I am from Small, Medium, to Large. [MariaD]

hmm that has been the biggest problem for me from the start he he. Never got the jeans or pants of my size because of the height and had to wear them from as low as I can he he. But I think now many people are of good height so now mostly brands make tall jeans but I still find problems in lowers and all. And secondly I am too thinsad, so fitting of Shirts have also been a problem he he. So less waist size and tall makes it very hard he he.. Hope I can gain some weight he he.. Happy Mylottinghappy... Ha ha ha ha ha ... the sizes I wear is common too. And that is the problem when I try to find clothes, especially during a sale. Cos the size is so common, everyone is trying to get the same sizes I am looking for. So unless I go early during the sale, I usually end up not finding anything that can fit me in terms of sizes. It is frustrating at times. But what to do? Go to the sale for clothes earlier to avoid disappointment loh. lol [ahgong]
lol In our case, it is not a matter of when we get the news. It is more of when we can go down to get to the sales! Our schedules were so packed prior to the Chinese New Year. And by the time we actually got down to the sales, a lot of the clothes in our sizes were sold out! lol [ahgong]

Uhm not really. I live in the Philippines, I am not fat but I am quite bigger than the average girl here in terms of bone structure and height. Sizes here tend to be so small for me. Well I do fit in large-XL shirts but it don't really fit as I want it to look. Sometimes they are kinda too short for me, or snug in the arms 'coz my shoulders are broad. I am lucky when I find something that really looks good on me. I am very particular on how a blouse hangs... If I wanted something that fits loose, I'd probably opt for a small in the plus-size section. Now when it comes to imported clothing, I easily find my size. yes. it is really a good question. my size is 10, but i find some times if i guy size 10, especially for jeans, it locks on my hip and cant go up. At this time, i will and it on my mirror and comfort to myself i can wear it if i lose more weight, even it's extremely not easy. My shoes size is 38 in my home, but here i can wear size 4, size 5 is a litthe baggy, usually i go to children goods for purchasing. for they are lovely and smart^_^ [cici0114]

Yeah, I want to agree with you that normal size is usually universal-and it makes going around what size you want for clothing very easy, I have a friend of mind who wears shoes of size 14 and he cant find his size in the open market-he has to order his shoes directly from the factory and that is not a very easy fit to accomplish especially when one is in a hurry to shop. It is very hard for me to find my size. I am broad in the shoulders but have a shortened torso, so average cut of shirts don't fit right. As for pants, I have no bottom, long legs, and a spare tire that find it difficult to have pants that fit in all the right places. Usually I have a baggy bottom and the leg is too short. Very pretty. Hi Youless, NOOOO!! I can NEVER find my size in anything, and it drives me nuts! I am very short, but I am built like a woman, as my husband says, so I have a feally hard time finding jeans especially. All jeans these days are low rise yeans, and they have a big gap right over my butt!! The only thing I find easily is tops. For thr jeans i can find my size eazily.. and i don;t have to face any problem soze related , in every store or in every city i can find my size of the jeans , but for the shirt its hard to find the exact size of mine, i do manage that size but its not fit me 100 % , then i do ont thing i purchase it and give it to my paylor he will alter the size and then give it to me.. then i can wear the shirt wich fit 100 % to me.. thanks to my taylor. hehe [Jinu3132]

I used to be able to go to the store, just pick out something my size and it would fit, that was back in the day when I was a size 9. Now I wear a 12 and things just aren't the same. I have to try everything on. I moved to Mexico a few years ago and boy have I had problems! Even XL doesn't fit me hear sometimes. I live in a world of women that are much shorter and smaller than me. I can never find clothes. I have just given up and wear the same things over and over. Sometimes I get care packages from the states and it's wonderful. With those, any size 12 works! [playapal]

I can easily find my size as I have an average body. My Asian size is Medium or sometimes Large but I never get an XL size.
