I love purses. There seem to be so many various colors and patterns and if there is one on sale I buy it. I can afford it, its not like I am in debt. I do not vuy expensive ones either. I get them at Kmart, WalMart or a store called Cato's. Maybe your are not as into purses as I am so is there something you like to buy? Maybe its earrings or braclets and even hats. When it concerns fashion whats your poison?

You are right, there are fantastic purses right now, but I do not seem to be collecting them. The day after Thanksgiving I went downtown with my sister in law near her house. We saw a purse that I was sure was her style and she said the funniest thing. She said, "I don't want to own it, I just want to touch it." We did not go in, but I thought that would be funny, to go in a store and say, "Can I touch your purse?" It was a reptile texture, purple, with a fake purple reptile flower on it. [GardenGerty]

When it comes to fashion, I'm a dud! As long as I'm comfortable I don't care much how I look. I've used (and mended) the same purse for years because it's perfect for my needs and I can't find another like it. My weakness used to be earrings but as I rarely leave my house I don't care much anymore. I still look and there are some that I'd like to buy but I'm afraid to spend money right now. I don't even own a purse. I keep my money in my back pocket. I don't really get into fashion either. I don't wear jewelry, I hate shoes, and I wear jeans and t-shirts most of the time. My 3 year old daughter is a girly girl. I am not really sure how that happened. [lilybug]

I have a friend like - she LOVES purses - but she will buy the expensive kinds. I used to buy tons of inexpensive purses too - so I can use a different one to match my outfits. But now with kids, I use one big ol' diaper bag type "purse" so I can shove and haul everything in there!! I used to buy tons of earrings and shoes before kids too! These days, I don't buy much for myself. We're on a budget, I'm with the kids all day so I really don't need to be a fashionista anymore (hey, but I make what I have look good - hee hee). But, I am a sucker for cheap, thrift shop clothing - whatever the item may be - that would be my fashion poison. I love looking through the 99 cent racks at our local thrift shops. Luckily I am small, so usually no one buys the smaller sizes - so more bargains for me! Give my 20 bucks and I can get loads of clothes! [much2say]

I have not been carrying purses, because I carry my work in a big bag, and I did not need to carry both. I have quit working, so we will see what happens. I tend to look for the perfect billfold, and also for the best looking shoes, that will allow me to be good to my feet. I tend to carry large bags, all the time, so I probably look at them more. I heard on the news lastnight that there is a small amount of lead used in the manufacture of purses to keep the color and look of the purse. I love to buy shoes! I never used to be this way but I really like tennie shoes. Mostly i like sketchers and kswiss. I like basic black dresses, and plain coloured satin blouses, in a wide variety of colours. If there is a subtle pattern in a different shade of the colour of the blouse, that's alright, or maybe a leopard print, or zebra stripes or something, but mostly I like plain colours. I do not own a dress. I do not even own any of the correct undergarmets to wear with a dress, I own no nylon stockings or shoes that go with a dress but for someone younger than me who would go more places it is good to have that basic black dress as its easy to dress up if necessary. [muscles4me]
I am very fond of purses. I want them to be the same colors as my shoes. I want my shoes and purse to be always in the same color actually. I practically have all the colors that are listed in my favorites, like pink, yellow, lavender, all shades of blue, all shades of green,cream, gold, silver, black, white and many more. I have cheap purses and I have very expensive ones too that I only use during special occasions. Not all of those purses are bought by me. Some of the are gifts from friends. One of my friends has a weakness for purses and bags; she has so many I've lost count! I am the same with shoes, I adore shoes! I can't resist a cute new pair whether I need them or not. It has been a few years since I have really been in to fashion. I have never really been a shoe nut or one who likes a lot of purses. I carry the same big dependable one usually until breaks.
