When I buy the clothes, I will wash it right away. I don't like wearing something that haven't been washed before. Even if they new clothes looks good and seems to be clean, I have to wash it anyway.

responses and comments:
If I buy the clothes at a consignment shop or thrift store, I'll definitely wash or dry clean them before wearing them (otherwise it's kind of gross to tell you the truth..) But if I buy them new, I just assume that they're clean & don't bother washing them. [maezee]
Perhaps I will feel better and therefore I must wash the new clothes. [youless]
good questionhappy.well if i buy underpants or bra packed or unpack yes i wash it.but blouse or dress it depends the shop.if it is packed i dont wash it but if it is hang there a long time i will wash it.who knows how many hands touching it. [bombshell]
You are right. But I still want to wash the new clothes so that it will be 100% clean. [youless]
I also wash the clothes that i buy before i use it.I dont feel comfortable if i wear it without washing it.It's more nice if i will wear it clean.Theres nothing wrong if we wash our new clothes before wearing it. [AXLAERO]
I feel the same with you. [youless]
Yes I used to wash cloths even they are new one. Even it is new one it may contain dust because every one before buying use to have a trial... [techsavvy999]
I agree with you. [youless]
oh no Youless ,I do not like to wash brand new clothes without using it first.Infact I like the smell of new clothes and also the feel. Also some clothes lose their luster after we wash them.So I always like to wear my new clothes a couple of times atleast before washing them..happy [Roseo8]
lolactually I was surprised to learn that you wash new clothes before wearing..... [Roseo8]
no i won;t wash clothes before i wear them. i will buy new clothes only and if they are packed i will not wash them . sometimes if i feel that there is dust on any clothes i bought ,i will clean them .otherwise i will wear as it is and wash them after i wear . [ank_47]
Thanks for your response. [youless]
Hmm I think its a good habit to do that and have heard also to the same he he. But in my home we usually don't follow this I mean at least with mine and papa's clothes don't know about mummy and didi he he. I usually only get pressed my clothes before wearing even if they are new he he.. Happy Mylottinghappy... [skaaaks]
The Valentine's Day is coming and I wish you have a great dayhappy [youless]
youless, I would definitely would here. For me it will not only be for the issue of hygiene but to ensure that the qualities are not being discounted i.e. shrinkage, color fast, accuracy of the washing and ironing instructions. I just feel that this is rather important as these clothings will be worn quite frequently so we will need to ensure that the materials will withstand with proper upkeep. Cheers. [skysuccess]
youless, I can't agree with you more here and nothing beats a newly laundered piece of clothing.happy Cheers. [skysuccess]
if i buy them new, i will not wash them. They do that before they will send to the store. And should i wash them? I love that NEW smell. It`s lovely. I wish that some day i`ll find that smell, i love it! [delkar]
I am afraid it will be a little dirty since there may be many people touched it. [youless]
There are some items of clothing that I wash, and some that I don't. I do wash any kind of lingerie, panties, underwear, bras and the like, but Jeans, I don't really care, and I will wear them once before washing. If I buy second hand I of course will wash it, like from a yard sale or something. I also wash towels once before use, because I have heard they are treated with chemicals, and they need to be washed! [ljbinkop]
Thanks for your response. [youless]
oh..yes i also wash it cuz i dont like the smell of the new clothes..have a nice day [marketing07]
It's a good habit in my opinionhappy [youless]
we should really wash it before actually wearing it because usually people tries to see if the clothes fit them before buying them. so, imagine how many people used that clothes [if it fits] before you saw it [and eventually bought it]. [janjee]
Somethings I will throw in the wash after buying them. Somethings have a lot of dyes in them which could be irritating to your skin. Undergarments I always throw into the wash before wearing. I also will wash jeans because they are heavily dyed. [moneymommy]
It's right to do so. [youless]
Hi youless, Yes I do, because you don't no who tried it on before you purchases the item. I think that you are doing the right thing. Happy myLotting Snowqueen [snowqueen2008]
Have a nice evening and thanks for replying back to me. [snowqueen2008]
yap... I must to wash them because I don't like of new clothes's smell... by the way I my parent always teach me to becareful not use clothes that someone I don't know that mean when some people try the clothes or use them I can use them before that clothes has been wash... they worry about skin disease from the other people can be attack my skin that way need to clean... for my skin healthy [dianni]
You are same with my mom, my mom would wash anything when she first got it but I don't. I guess I really don't bother or I don't have the patience to wait! I want to wear it ASAP and therefore I wouldn't wash anything I first got! [wondericequeen]
Since the washing machine wash all the clothes, so I don't mind itwink [youless]
Yes, I do wash the clothes I just bought from the store because I don't like the smell of the store and besides some people were trying it on. [abby_gale]
Yes I am very happy to have a baby like her. lol [abby_gale]
Yes whenever i buy a new cloth. take a trial at home for few moments. when everthing is fine and as per requiremnet. I will wash it before wearing it for use. It may be cleaned already and good looking but as a custm we use to wear washed cloths only.surrenderwub [MAHESH2008]
Long time no seehappy [youless]
it really depends... 1) if i can find my size for my clothes, i will not wash it 2) if i can't find my size for my clothes, i will buy any larger size, then i will wash it, so that it will shrink to become smaller & fits me do you get what i mean? LOL! [victorywp]
This is a good experience [youless]
I know what you say is right my friend, after all the clothes you buy have been hanging around in the shops for who knows how long and who knows how many people have touched these garments and worst still put them on, thankfully underwear is different LOL! But I always wear the garment once after purchase then I wash it, I just don't like to think about it, ignorance is bliss and all that ;0) [wolfie34]
I am positive you are closing the gap for sure my friend ;0) I am not as active as I used to be! [wolfie34]
I never even thought of washing clothe that I just bought. I guess you never know who tried them on before you. Maybe I will start washing them now that I thought about all that. [missybear]
Yes, I think it's better. [youless]
hello youless i hear ya about washing brand new clothes like that when that they are purchased. i cannot stand to wear anything like that before that it is washed, cleaned and soft feeling. and there is no telling who has tried on the clothes that we all see that is hanging inside of a department store for sell. that is why that i like to wash all of the new clothes that i either get for myself or that my family gets as well. i think it would be gross to have to wear new clothes like that without freshening them up some first. take care and have a beautiful evening. [TnWoman]
Besides, if there is something wrong with the clothes after washing it, at least we can refund it. [youless]
Yeah, that is a good habit to have. Better to wash them first before wearing. You never know where the fabric has gone before it was made into the clothing you bought. Even after the clothing was made, you never know where it was placed prior to packaging. So, rather wash and know for sure it is clean before wearing it is the best practice to adopt! lol [ahgong]
Usually, after you wash it, there is no refunds already. So we have to be sure when we buy it. Takes a lot of trial and error to know. I guess this is one skill that HAS to be gain through experience. Even then, it is still not 100% accurate. lol [ahgong]
Hi youless. Well, I do the same thing. Imagine to wear those clothes it's already wore it and fit by a different people. It's hard to get some body odor or whatever microbes you will get. I do wash it when I get home and some times I soak them on antibacterial fabric conditioner after washing them so It will be soften.happy [mialei23]
This is a good habit. [youless]
Normally I'll wash it before I wear it as there could be countless people who tried it on & not buy them? Even if nobody have worn it before, who knows how long it has been kept? The idea of washing it seems more hygienic anywayhappy [zweeb82]
I totally agree with you. [youless]
For me it depends on how the clothes smell and the texture, if it smells like it just came out of the Storage room, has a strong smell of whatever chemical they put to preserve the clothes or is starchy, I wash it first. But if not, I don't mind wearing it right away. [silverglint]
In my opinion, I think washing it can avoid any problemshappy [youless]
And I like you,one should first wash to buy new clothes to wear. [qiweihong]
What a cute baby and reminds me of my son's babyhoodlol [youless]
i always wash new clothes.. even if i just took it out of its packing... it may be new.. but it may not be clean... the cloth may have not been washed since the day the factory start cutting, sewing and packing it.. and we just dont know how the cloth were kept during all the process, and how many hands have touched it... i use a washing machine anyway.. so.. wash away all the worries before i let anyone wear any new clothes.. [4mymak]
You are right. I agree with you as I also let the washing machine to wash all the clotheslol [youless]
Hi youless! Most of the time I do wash the newly bought clothes but there are those times that I really don't care to wash it at all. haha..I am just too excited to wear it!lol Take care and blessings to you always! lovelots..faith [faith210]
I can see you are excited to your nice new clotheswink [youless]
I always wash the new clothes that I buy. There are some customers who are trying to fit some clothes and sometimes it doesn't fit on them. You'll never know if they have a body odour or not, or even some skin infections so its really better to wash the clothes that we buy even if its new. [sophie_dfuss]
I really appreciate that you responded so many of my discussions todaylol [youless]
yes, I will also wash new clothing before it is worn the first time. Not only is there the probability that it has been touched, tried on and worn by someone else - there is also the consideration of the finishing or I think it is called siezing - chemicals that are applied at the factory before coming to the store. [Modestah]
You are right. Thanks for your response. [youless]
Yes, I am always washing after buying it. It is possible that there are others who tried to fit in the clothes you have bought. We couldn't see it on our naked eyes the micro-organisms that might be fatal to your health. One of my friends had forward me a message about a woman who got his breast homed with some insects. The woman said he got it from clothes he haven't wash after buying it. So thw woman had adviced everyone not to wear clothes that are not washed. [gladysjanem]
I totally agree with you. [youless]
sometimes i dont... but most of the time., i really do... [jheLaichie]
Perhaps it's better to wash the new clothes anywaywink [youless]
i always wash my new clothes before wearing them... thats really me i hate new clothes which i didnt wash because i think its dirty. [ichieh]
This is a good habit. [youless]
Yes I do the same. I do not know how well the clothes were packed even if they came straight from the factory. It is still best to be sure than regret at the end. So I never wear newly bought clothes without washing them first. I knew of some people who got allergies after wearing newly bought clothes without washing them first. I do not want to be like them. So be careful always. [Yori88]
You are right. [youless]
